Best Poster & Presentation Awards 5th CEBC 2023

The poster committee evaluated all posters on their design, clarity of the presentation – both of the poster and also when talking to the presenter – and their scientific content.

We announced the five winners of the Best Poster Awards in front of the entire audience during the closing ceremony.

We announced the five winners of the Best Poster Awards of the 5th CEBC and three winner of the Best Poster Presentation the 5th CEBC Conference during a ceremony in front of the entire audience on Thursday, June 1st.

The winners of The Best Paper and Poster Award 2023 were:

  1. Katarzyna Grychowska,
  2. Aleksandra Krajcer,
  3. Marta Kędziora,
  4. Jakub Wójcik,
  5. Irena Smaga-Maślanka.

The winners of The Best Paper and Presentation Award 2023 were:

  1. Marta Przymuszała,
  2. Paulina Dragan.

Prior to submitting the abstract, the presenting Author needs to be registered (including payment) at the Congress: www.cebc.pl

 

The deadline for an Abstract submission is 20th May 2023.

Rules for submission of abstracts

  1. Abstracts must be submitted via this website. Faxed or emailed abstracts will not be considered.
  2. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. The abstract should be written using Calibri at 12 points and applying single spacing. The abstract needs to be submitted in Word document (doc, docx) format.
  3. You may submit only 1 abstract. Presenters that are accepted for oral presentation will be permitted to give only 1 oral presentation.
  4. The abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts as an eBook.
  5. The abstract successfully submitted will be confirmed by e-mail.

Guidelines for submission

  1. Abstract Topic – abstracts must be allocated to a specific main topic.

Poster:

  • clinical research,
  • preclinical research,
  • other topic.
  1. Presenting author’s contact details (should be the same details as the submitting author so that the presenting author receives the correspondence about the abstract)

Email address

Author and co-authors’ details: author’s surname before listing the initial letters of names.

Affiliation details: full name of institution, town, country (all in italics).

Abstract title:  A title (not more than 150 characters) should accurately describe the nature of the study and be indicated in bold.

Abstract body:  limited to 2500 characters (including spaces) and be divided into 5 sections indicated in bold:

Background,

Material and methods,

Results,

Conclusions,

Acknowledgements.

Please do not include references. Tables and Graphs are not accepted.

Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for Scientific Committee inclusion in the Scientific Program.

The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by him/her nor the publication of any such Content by the Organizers, on the internet or otherwise infringes any third party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.

Abstract selection and presentation

The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the submitting Author.

The confirmation about the abstract accepted to the oral presentation will be sent by email before 22th May 2023.

Authors of abstracts accepted as posters are welcome to present their work at the Congress as wallpaper posters in a designated display area. The poster boards have a size of 100 cm wide × 250 cm high. We recommend printing the poster on an A0 format, vertically oriented (84 cm × 119 cm).

Authors are encouraged to include images, tables, and detailed data to enhance the documentation of their work. During the presentation, authors will have 5 minutes to explain their results and respond to questions from the Jury for the Best Paper Awards selection. If the presenter is not available, the poster will not be evaluated.

The best discussion among all the presentations will receive the special Best Paper Award.

Please note that not all posters will be selected for oral presentation during the Poster Walk. Authors will receive specific guidelines for each poster.

Confirmation regarding the acceptance of abstracts for oral presentation will be sent by email before May 22nd, 2023
